EPF launched a call for proposals to develop an online platform to host an information hub on the protection of sexual and reproductive health and rights, featuring different atlases on contraception, HPV, fertility, and more.
The European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual and Reproductive Rights (EPF), a network of parliamentarians from across Europe dedicated to protecting sexual and reproductive health and rights, launched a tender for the development of an online platform to host information on this topic with data at a global level. SOLOS won the tender.
This project differs from other websites we’ve developed in the past because it doesn’t have textual content per se, but functions as an interactive data display platform. And as such, in terms of data programming, we used a specific technology for this website.
In the future, it is intended that this platform will host other atlases.
The result was a highly robust platform that presents information in a clear way and enables users to quickly absorb the content.
The experience begins with selecting a map and viewing the world map, followed by exploring the details of each region and selected country. We also developed an additional feature that allows users to compare two countries.
Because we had to create a visual universe that covered all the atlases and standardized the information on the platform, we also came up with a graphic identity proposal, for which we chose a neutral color palette, with whites and greys.
